Welcome to Dulwich Hill Public School
Dulwich Hill Public School serves a culturally diverse community in inner-western Sydney. The school is committed to meeting the needs of individual students and strives to achieve excellence and equity in all program areas.
The school strives to prepare students for their future success through fostering and teaching the values and skills necessary for them to contribute positively to the community as adults.
Emphasis is placed on qualities such as perseverance, self discipline, self confidence and social responsibility, the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others and to resolve conflict in positive ways. It is believed that these values and skills promote a sense of citizenship, student leadership, a belief in social justice and an understanding of and commitment to procedural fairness.
Dulwich Hill Public School prides itself on its diversity. The school celebrates its multicultural and indigenous heritage through a range of programs and events, including Community Languages and NAIDOC Week. Our motto, ‘Tolerance’, is fundamental to the school’s culture.
The school is characterised by a sense of energy and a warmth of welcome that extends to all those who enter its doors.
